- Creativity
- Basically, creativity is about producing new ideas or combining old ideas
in a unique way. Creativity is only constrained by imagination. It goes
through from idea or vision (the eureka! moment) through to a description that
expresses the organisation and structure of the concept held in the mind to a
third party. The idea may not be expressed in a way that is easily understood
or assumptions in the description may not be obvious to the third party.
Basically, creativity is about producing the ideas. The words 'Creativity' and
'Innovation' are often used together.

- Innovation
- Innovation is the practical realisation of a unique idea. This realisation
also often requires creativite solutions to problems encounted in the journey
from idea to product, for example, the development of new test equipment and
techniques. It is essentially a practical activity and is constrained by cost,
time, materials, available technology etc. The words 'Creativity' and
'Innovation' are often used together.
